The MiG-21 was produced in the USSR, India, and Czechoslovakia. Several pilots became aces flying this aircraft, including Nguyễn Văn Cốc who scored at least 9 “kills” of US Aircraft (F-105’s, F-4’s, and a F-102) during the Vietnamese War. He may have had as many as 11 kills, it is difficult to determine given the level of misinformation practiced by all sides of the conflict.
