The BT-13B was a trainer used by both the U.S. Army Air
Corps and U.S. Navy during the Second World War. For the most
part this airplane was replaced by the AT-6. Following the 2nd World
War many of these planes were sold for a few hundred dollars and in
many cases their engines were placed in surplus biplanes to become
cropdusters. See also Pima Air and Space Museum, Tucson, Arizona.
