The Shenyang J-6A is a Chinese built version of the MiG-19. The J-6 has a limited operational life, basically 100 sorties before it needs an overhaul. It has a maximum speed of 960 mph and a service ceiling of 58,700 feet. The J-6A was produced between 1958 and 1960. Only about 100 units of the J-6A were produced because it was a substandard model and never made it into service.
