War Eagles Air Museum, Santa Teresa, New Mexico
This model was produced from 1941 - 1942 & from 1946 - 1948,
reflecting a lapse due to the Second World War. This model had a
radio which was described as excellent, except that it could drain the
battery in two hours. Perhaps because of that Ford retained a manual
starting feature. Two types of heaters were available, a gasoline burner (Southwind)
and a hot-water type.
