Avro Anson 1
The Anson was noisy, slow, and cold. It saw
substantial early action in WW II but was soon
replaced with more modern equipment on the front.
After that it was used extensively as a trainer. 11,020
units of this aircraft were produced from the mid-30’s
to 1952. It was retired from the RAF in 1968.
