Consolidated Liberator B24L
This aircraft was produced in December 1944 for
a cost of $10,900 USD. Allocated to the RAF on 27
April 1945. This is a Liberator B.Mk. VIII which has more
radar and rescue equipment than the bomber version. Flown from
Canada to India in early June 1945 (53 flying hours).
Retired from service at the end of 1968.
