North American AT-6D/SNJ-5 Texan - 1943

Known as “Old No. 7, this airplane was built in 1943 and used
as a trainer during World War II.  After the War it was sold as
surplus for $750.  The United States Air Force purchased the
aircraft for $15,000 when the United Nations entered the
Korean War where it was used as a reconnaissance aircraft.
