529 T-2’s were built, they are retired from the U.S. Navy and the Venezuelan Air Force - still in service in Greece. This was the U.S. Navy’s primary trainer during its term of service. Its maximum speed was 522 m.p.h. at 25,000 feet, an operational ceiling to 40,400 feet and a range of 1,047 miles.
