More than 2,000 Apache Helicopters were built at a cost ranging from $20M USD (2007) to $35.5M USD (2014). The Apache is used by the US Army, the Israeli Airforce, the Egyptian Air Force, and the Royal Netherlands Air Force. It was first produced in 1983 and has been manufactured by Hughes, McDonnell Douglas, and Boeing Defense, Space & Security.
