The Trojan was the trainer used by the U. S. Air Force and U. S. Navy
between 1955 and 1967. The U. S. also used this type of aircraft for
counter-insurgency during the Vietnam War. 1,948 of these aircraft
were built for the U.S. military.  Variations of the T-28 were
built later for the Brazilian Air Force and for general aviation.
