North American - Canadair F-86 Sabre Mk. VI

War Eagles Air Museum, Santa Teresa, New Mexico
The F-86 first flew in 1947 and became the first American
fighter to break the sound barrier in 1948.  It was used 
extensively by United Nations forces in the Korean War.
This particular aircraft saw service in the South African Air Force.
