Hawker Hurricane 1
The Hurricane destroyed more German aircraft during
the Battle of Britain than all other sources combined.
The Hurricane entered service in 1937. This particular
aircraft was built in late 1940 and selected for
“preservation” in April 1944. Production of the Hurricane
ended in 1944 after 14,583 had been built.
